Digital transformation of Emaar’s Grocery Retailers
Emaar is an award-winning real-estate developer based in UAE. The company has business verticals in eCommerce, entertainment, and more.
Emaar Group is Dubai’s largest group of real estate developers with a market capitalization of USD 5.3 Billion. The company dives into other verticals for potential lucrative opportunities such as hospitality and entertainment. Owing to recent changes in the digital landscape, Emaar leveraged the opportunity by enabling ecommerce for their Grocery retailers and customers.
To enable eCommerce capabilities for a portfolio of Emaar’s hypermarket shop owners, as they needed a unified platform to manage owners, customers, packers and delivery.
Shopdev’s homegrown product HYPR allowed quick eCommerce enablement and offered a B2B and B2C platform for customers and retailers under Emaar’s online grocery platform. It enabled retailers to quickly onboard and sell their in-store inventory online while streamlining customer orders and logistics for immediate order fulfilment.
An effortless onboarding process meant that Emaar was quickly able to onboard store owners. An online catalogue was uploaded for each store in the form of an onboarding sheet with SKUs, product names, categorization, prices, and quantity. The HYPR app was integrated with the store’s ERP or POS to keep track of inventory and price changes.
A separate app was created for packers and delivery agents to browse catalogued inventory and manage orders easily. It mapped out all the necessary information and triggers against each order to ensure seamless processes.
After successfully implementing the developed solutions, customers can now browse and place orders online from thousands of items available on Emaar’s grocery platform.
After the successful implementation of HYPR:
Ultimate marketplace for automotive spare parts.
An omni-channel success story.
Streamlining e-commerce returns with custom plug-n-play solutions.
